Caitlin is the manager of UCL’s Jill Dando Institute Research Lab (JDIRL) – a secure data lab for sensitive data conducting and facilitating research and academic-practitioner engagement to deliver cutting-edge solutions to real-world crime problems. Her research applies behavioural & complexity science methodologies to understand grievance-fuelled crime and violence including lone-actor terrorism, mass murder, insider threats, the pathologically fixated, as well other types of violence, such as domestic abuse and serious youth violence.
